Had one seriously busy day Friday, first in the morning with my movie reviews with Pat Evans on KARE 11 TV (NBC), followed shortly with a conversation with boxing great Sugar Ray Leonard, who was the boxing consultant and fight choreorgrapher for the robots in the upcoming Hugh Jackman sci-fi adventure "Real Steel." Next I screened Anton Yelchin's new romantic drama, the Sundance Film Festival winner "Like Crazy" and had a conversation with him about the film afterward. Capping off the night, I talked with Steve Thomson on WCCO-AM (CBS).
Look for interviews with Sugar Ray and Anton in the coming weeks -- for now, please check out my reviews of "Moneyball," "Killer Elite" and "Bridesmaids" on home video on KARE 11 here, and reviews of "Moneyball," "Killer Elite" and brief thoughts about the re-release of "The Lion King" on WCCO here. Please note, the WCCO link is to a podcast for the second hour of the show, so you'll need to forward it to 18:30 mark.
If you want to read more about "Moneyball," I talked with Jonah Hill about the film -- you can read the interview here. Also, I talked with Kristen Wiig and Wendi McLendon-Covey for "Bridesmaids" before the theatrical release. You can read that interview here.
Thanks for checking in ... until next time, cheers!
Tim
